Like most things in life, we spend the majority of our time seeking answers anywhere we can imagine. We scroll through Instagram or turn on YouTube to listen to a compilation of speakers telling us, some screaming at us that change is possible; that we can do anything we want in this life—and that we should before time runs out.
Someone can tell us they are thankful or sorry, they Love, or they appreciate us, but if we don’t feel it means very little to us. If our emotions do not match the words that someone shares, we can walk away feeling empty inside. The lack of being able to make someone feel something is the root of most conflict in our daily relationships.
Life can be one big distraction if we allow it to be. We can’t wake up in the morning without being distracted by something. Our minds become consumed with the thoughts of the world. Some relevant to our well being, most not. So what can we do?
