about me

My blog title may appear that I am someone who is out traveling the world …

Hardly the truth. I do move and explore different places, but that is not what explore means to me. Exploring to me represents searching for meaning and trying to gain a greater understanding of the world around me.

I studied human behavior my entire life, formally as a graduate student—specifically empathy and habits for success. I also Love meeting new people.

Each of us is unique; our perspective is like no one else. Regardless of how similar we think we are, we have differences that influence our thoughts, beliefs, morals, values, and decision-making. And every person everywhere that we meet is an opportunity for us to grow.

Another Love of mine is nature. It continues to teach me valuable lessons. A short hike through the woods reminds me that feelings of inadequacy and stress are minor compared to who we are at our core. When in nature, my soul comes to life, and every time I finish a walk and enter back into the noise of society, I am wiser and more balanced than I was before.

I strive for balance, and through life’s ups and downs, I am happy more than not. I never settle, adapt when necessary, and I’m forever evolving. I hope to share a piece of that with you through my perspective through my writing and photography.

It means more than I can explain when people reach out to me—for whatever the reason may be. You can connect with me on Instagram or say hello below.

“What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think…It is the harder, because you will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it. It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned on my time here on earth is we shouldn’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive. Because what the world needs most, is more people who come alive.”

~Unknown

“I have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that they exist in the present, which is what there is and all there is.”

~Alan Watts
